The Great Courses?
My daughter has been at her grandmothers (my wife's mother) place for a few days and came home tonight, loaded up with the usual too much that grandmothers spoil their grandchildren with
However, in amongst all her spoils was this for me:
I took a quick flip through the books, looks like it might be interesting. Anyone have any opinions?
Thanks much and all the best,

I think there is good free astro stuff at Coursera and Khan Academy as well.pakarinen wrote: ↑Sun Aug 29, 2021 12:52 pm No experience with those specifically, but I bought a digital access one on physics done by a guy from Fermilab. It's not bad. I think Fillipenko's astrophysics course is on sale. Might be worth a look, but I wouldn't pay more than $20-$30 for it given how much free stuff is out there.
