Since we're in the testing phase, I thought it might prove helpful to try a post with a couple of attachments in one of the sub-forums...
I have three Skywatcher telescopes (one 100mm & two 80mm). The SW focusers can be a little tricky to adjust, even to those accustomed to "regular" Crayford style focusers. I came across this piece when helping a friend in Florida a couple of years ago.
I have the entire article in PDF format, but can't attach it to the forum. If anyone needs it, please send a PM with your email address.
It seems that the forum doesn't like two files placed in-line in the same thread. It's not a major issue, as one can simply make two separate posts (each with one pic).
I'm gonna try it one more time without trying to stack them myself, omitting a "Return" between the placement...

Thanks for the pdf,
I have recently bought an ED80 and was thinking that the focuser was a bit loose and feeling a little nervous about hanging a dslr from it.
I'll give this procedure a try!
Skywatcher ED80, Skywatcher EQM35 pro, Canon eos100d, second hand 10x50 binoculars (unknown brand, but they work great!)
