New Image: Lunar images from SeeStar

This little telescope never ceases to amaze me.

These are 'single shot' image right from the SeeStar, I will admit I did do an 'automatic' clean up on my Ipad, but nothing more......

I was amazed by the colors.

Excellent Lunar EAA work there Gordon.

Is the change in field of view a result of the S50 being able to change its focal length or is it post edit?

Using the "Lunar" settings you have 3 different magnifications available.

Nice! Since I'm older and my eyes aren't what they used to be, maybe I should buy an S50 and sell all the rest of my scopes! I'm going to be downsizing early next year anyway!

My financial situation is uncertain at the moment but I'm thinking of getting a Seestar next year when it's my 70th. What amazes me is that your shots beat my 127mm Mak and DSLR.I've been experimenting a lot to get better photos with my modest equipment. I'm wondering how much better your photos might be if you stacked and processed them.

I wasn't thinking of using an S50 for lunar photos, except when I don't have the time and energy to do a Mak shot but now I'm wondering.

I haven’t invested a lot of time on processing deep sky images with my SeeStar, member @Ben Cartwright SASS has quite a few.
