I got up at the leisurely hour of just after noon, and my other half informed me it had been a nice clear morning. Key word is had... Didn't really matter, as the Sun was behind my tree anyways and I had a few things to do.
Around 3:30 there was a break in the clouds banks slowly drifting in from the south. I figured I had about 20 minutes to get this done. You learn over the years chasing the Sun. Lately I've been using my SolarQuest, but I really didn't have the time to set that up. I took my manual CG4 from the shed and got my 61mm and laptop from the basement. Just for fun I timed all that. From opening the shed for getting the mount to being ready to start shooting took me 2 minutes and 18 seconds
Sure enough, my window lasted a bit over 20 minutes. In that time I got off 8 sets of 2000 frames at various exposures. I took the best stack in AS3 and stacked the best 20 frames.
A new spot is coming around the upper left of the disc, I'm betting 3667.
AR3663 is quite large and shaped like no spot I've seen in 8 years of Solar. Greg made a post about it here.

Should be interesting to see how it goes. I would like to see that, but my weather forcast might have other plans
